Why Usher and Greeter Training?
Ushers and greeters, the first representatives that congregants and guests meet upon entering your synagogue, promote a sense of welcoming and belonging. They are uniquely positioned to spot suspicious behaviors. After our one-hour training, these volunteers will:
- Learn practical skills to recognize threats to the Jewish community.
- Participate in interactive exercises that focus on deterring and detecting suspicious activity.
