Usher and Greeter Training

Ushers and greeters set the tone for welcoming and belonging. These volunteers should play a critical role in spotting suspicious behavior and securing places of worship.

Keep Your Synagogue Safe.

Why
Usher
and
Greeter
Training?

Ushers and greeters, the first representatives that congregants and guests meet upon entering your synagogue, promote a sense of welcoming and belonging. They are uniquely positioned to spot suspicious behaviors. After our one-hour training, these volunteers will:

  • Learn practical skills to recognize threats to the Jewish community.
  • Participate in interactive exercises that focus on deterring and detecting suspicious activity.
